GREY CAST IRON
Grey cast iron is the most commonly used iron-carbon alloy. What makes it so special is good susceptibility to machining, high abrasion resistance and good casting properties.
This grade of cast iron has excellent noise and vibration damping properties. It is used for making bodies and parts of machines, manhole covers, parts of hydrants or fireplace components.
